We have 8 Web Server Administrator requirements in Singapore.
*Role 1: Web Server Administrator - Windows*
*Responsibilities:*
# Remotely managing client Hosting servers and application infrastructure
platforms
# Manage Custom Hosting Hotline in order to Performing client specific
“challenge/response” dialogue to confirm authenticity of the call -
Determining if previous Remedy ticket was opened; if so, provide status to
the caller, otherwise Opening a ticket with proper documentation detailing
the problem and identifying the correct Severity
# Routing confirmed Severity 1 reactive fault directly to Tier 3 support
# Engaging Shift Operations Manager upon client escalation or upon
encountering a Severity 1 fault
*Technical Skills required: *
# *MS Servers, IIS Administration and Windows platforms*
# UNIX system administration, Sun Server System
# Familiarity with Microsoft .NET Framework and XML (Metadata), Remedy,
Compulert, Apache, iPlanet , Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas NetBackup,
Webshphere, Weblogic, Webtrends, Linux, BizTalk are additional skills being
sought.
*Experience required:* 3-6 years

*Role 2: Web Server Administrator - Sun*
*Responsibilities:*
# Remotely managing client Hosting servers and application infrastructure
platforms
# Troubleshooting and analysis, fault resolution, configuration management,
change management and performance management.
# Monitor database performance and perform required tuning, manage space
utilization, perform backup and recovery procedures, verify utility outputs
and also perform the installation of patches and upgrades.
# Fault Management Resolution & Change Execution responsibilities include: -
Restoring service on outage conditions
# Participating in technical calls on outages and assisting with
communications
# Performing Change Control / MACD work
# Adhering to fault management ticketing documentation
# Assisting / Mentoring Tier I associates as needed
# Fault resolution and ticket closure per Tier 2 queue
*Technical Skills required:
*# UNIX system administration on *Sun Server System platforms*
# Heavy experience in the following Applications: *WebSphere, SunOne
Directory Server (LDAP), Apache, SiteMinder, AppShield*.
# Desirables: Sun Solaris, Internet/Intranet Application Servers, Proxy
Servers, Policy Servers, Network devices, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and MS
Advanced Server administration.
# Familiarity with Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas NetBackup, Remedy, and
BladeLogic is a plus
*Experience required:* *3*-6 years

*Common for both:*
# 12 hours day shift X 4 days working (Per week)
# Certified people preffered
