This is in regards to the Technical Support -C#/ ASP/ ASP.NET / XML/ Database_10 - permanent position in Singapore that I have, the skill set that I am looking at is listed below; incase you are looking for a change, kindly get back to me with your updated resume at your earliest, along with your skills ratings in the format below.
Role & Responsibilities:
Second line support for problem management & bug-fix work, tools/minor enhancements in the products supported by the group and improving support tools.
Some level of first line support is required according to capacity, and as such a high level of communication skills, both spoken and written are required.
The application suite supported by the group uses a mixture of technology on both UNIX and Microsoft platforms, and the candidate will be expected to learn new technology on the job.
Training in the business and the applications will be given, however, any knowledge of fixed income securities and processing would be an advantage
Essentials:
- Advanced support and troubleshooting experience in a structured Level one or Level two role in a large organisation.
- Root Cause analysis experience [advanced].
- C#, ASP.NET [Intermediate to expert].
- Web development skills with ASP and ASP.Net, XML, XSLT.
- Good database knowledge including SQL and stored procedures (either Sybase or Oracle).
- Solid understanding of client/server technology and architecture
DESIRABLE:
- ITIL Incident and Problem management knowledge (green badge qualified)
- Data analysis and processing skills (trend analysis, statistical analysis of repeat failures)
- UNIX Shell
- Perl or another UNIX scripting language
- Java development, particularly on J2EE platforms
- Struts or JSP experience
- Fixed Income knowledge
