Role : Analayst Programmer
Responsibilities:
The role will involve liaising with RMM analysts to understand their reporting requirements and create risk reports based on this. As such the candidate will be able to gain good domain knowledge in the area of Risk Management and Measurement. The candidate should be bright and eager to learn.
The process flow needed to develop risk reports is:
Analyse reporting requirements using in house developed risk analysis tools.
Code up requirements in XML, which is used as the risk calculation engine report definition language.
Develop customized XSL transforms to parse the results into a format that can be imported into Excel.
Develop Excel macros (written in VBA) to further format and manipulate the data into the final reports.
In addition the candidate will need to support existing ClusterNet reporting in all environments (production, business testing, user acceptance testing) and liaise with users, helping them to understand how to use the system, finding ways for improving their processes, and helping them to overcome any issues they encounter.
The role is based in Singapore but involves working with users and other developers in London and New York.
Mandatory Skills:
Development experience working in a Microsoft development environment, using the following technologies:
XML/XSL
VB/VBA
Microsoft Excel/ Access
Work Experience
3yrs- 5yrs systems development (design, development, configuration management and documentation)
Desirable:
NT Server administration
IIS Administration
Awareness of and flexibility to adapt to new technologies
Development experience using ASP, ASP.Net, C#, MS SQL Server or MS IIS.
