Role : Developer

Responsibilities:
The role is within the Framesoft team working on delivery of a Workflo=
w capability for the Framesoft application. The individual will work closel=
y with team members in Singapore and London. The project also includes majo=
r enhancements to netting functionality, counterparty modelling and integra=
tion with other systems.

The individual will be primarily responsible for:

Development of forms for a workflow application using Oracle and the F=
ramesoft form builder.

Preparation of functional & technical specifications.

Preparation and execution of unit and system test scripts.

Providing production support for the Framesoft application to global u=
sers.

The individual may also be required to work on the following areas:

Development of reports in Business Objects (Web Intelligence) and Orac=
le

Development of feeds using Oracle Procedures, Unix shell and Perl scri=
pt.

Providing support for the Legal Opinions web application (IIS/ASP)

Mandatory Skills:

3+ years Oracle

3+ GUI forms development (any platform)

3+ years reports development

3+ years UNIX

Relational database design

Technical & business writing skills (English)

Development of feeds and application interfaces

Unit and System testing

Exposure to full IT systems project life cycle - including Planning,=
Analysis, Design, Testing

Reliable developer used to working within a structured SDLC process, capa=
ble of writing robust code and conducting thorough system test

Work Experience

Minimum of 3 years IT commercial experience

Desirable:

Experience of transaction management within multi-user database applicat=
ions.
Business Objects (incl. Web Intelligence)
Shell script, Perl
Experience of workflow applications
Web development

Responsibilities:

The role is for a software developer to undertake on-going enhancement=
and maintenance on the TSRD system. It will involve designing and implemen=
ting application functionality in accordance with specifications provided b=
y IT analysts in London as well as responding to issue/defect reports from =
the same sources. There will also be significant participation in programme=
d performance.

Mandatory Skills:
Solid grasp of application design.
Full expertise of PL/SQL, plan analysis, and query optimisation, on Or=
acle 9/10.

Mastery of J2EE, JSP, JSTL.

Proficiency with Excel.

Basic Unix/Linux.

Configuration management / version control and use of supporting tool.

Work Experience

Minimum 2 years Java application development.
Minimum 2 years work with a large scale SQL database, including creati=
on and optimisation of stored procedures.
Minimum 1 year working with WebLogic server.

Desirable:
Competency with Ajax, C#, ClearCase, Eclipse/JBuilder, Hibernate, Spring,=
Visual Basic / VBA, XML.
