We are currently looking for System Administrator (VMware,Altiris Support ) for our MNC client in Singapore.Find below the qualifications and responsibilities required for the position.
Position : System Support Engineer (VMWare &Altiris Support)
Job Type : Contract position renewable to perm.
Location : Singapore
Altiris
Perform daily operation support on Zone 3 Altiris Client Management Suite.
Follow all Quality policies /procedures , develop qualification documents to ensure compliance in behaviours.
Carry our priviledged and non priviledged system administration tasks on zone 3 Client Computing Services platform.
VMWare
To provide support for performing the following functions for VMWare Virtual Infrastructure.
1)Quality /Architecture
2)Platform Qualification
3)VMware Infrastructure Support
Assist IT affilaiate or vendor for troubleshooting support of ESX Server ,VC Management Server and Virtual Machines..
Hosts backup configuration and troubleshooting.
Assist in performance tuning.
Configure ESX Server farm security.
Account Administration
Liase with Business Partners and global VMWare technical lead team members and ensure global alignment and standards are in place in zone 3.
Provide basic consulting and technical support.
