The biggest problem we face in Singapore today is undoubtedly the unreasonable rental hike.
Dear friends, as some members have already pointed out, we are also partially responsible for these exorbitant hikes. Some of us are financially more capable than others and were ready to take houses for any rates however unfair they were. The agents made use of this situation and were successful in persuading the owners to attain these rates. At the end, the sufferers are those with lower salaries. We are thinking rentals are too much it is based on pur salary.
1/3rd salary is going for rent then it is good for people who are
planning to stay here.
Ulitmatly not good for everybody even localites.
