One of our Leading MNC Banking Client is looking for Business
Analysts for Permanent opening in Singapore. The requirement is as
follows

Global Market (GM) eCommerce
Risk Management Credit/ Market
FIX API
Trade Finance
Equities and Forex
CRM
Cash Management Channels
REPORTS TO: Project Manager
LOCATION: Singapore
SCOPE OF ROLE:
The role is to manage the completion of key milestones involved in
various projects This requires end-to-end tasks management and
liason with different teams in the Technology, Operations, Customer
Implementation and Products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:
Work with business to understand and define requirements for
different areas
Analyse business needs to drive the delivery of solutions
tailored to the business requirements.
Develop solution jointly with the Solution Architect and
Data Architect as required.
Work closely with the other project team members in
evaluating and selecting vendor when a packaged solution needs to be
implemented.
Coordinate all business related activities with the users as
well as customers, such as ensuring legal and regulatory compliance,
review customer contract and revise if necessary, develop and
conduct training/workshop and coordinate testing with users or
customers in different countries.
To develop all project deliverables related to business
requirements or functional specifications (e.g. BRD, Functional
Specification, high level and detailed design, test plan and
scripts, etc.). Clearly and concisely document all requirements in a
structured fashion to define scope of delivery, and translate the
Requirements to Functional specifications.
Provide input to PM in developing the overall and detailed
project plan, implementation strategy and schedule.
Attend PWC meetings and assist PM in resolving functional-
related issues and prioritization of activities where required.
Provide input to PM for PSC reporting and regular project
communication to all business stakeholders.
Conduct tests at different stages (e.g. SIT, UAT, OAT, SAT
as per project schedule), review the test results, monitor issues
resolution, and participate in the exit checkpoints & go/no-go
decision for the next stage of the project (e.g. UAT, go-live).
Ensure business and support users are well trained on use of
new applications.
Display a professional approach in dealings with all staff
(WB Business, External Vendor and Project team members), to
facilitate delivery of business functionality.
Work closely with PM and Release Manager in coordinating
Dress rehearsal (DR), deployment and rollout activities with users
from different countries.
Provide Post Implementation Support and provide input to PM
for Post Implementation Review report.
Assist PM in satisfactory handover from project to BAU and
project closure.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Degree in Information Science or equivalent disciplines.
Masters Degree in Business or Information Technology is an
advantage. Strong analytical problem solving skills, thorough
working knowledge of the SDLC process and its application within
small and large IS projects.
A very good understanding of customers and products in the
respective areas.
At least 8 years extensive experience in working with front-
office users in the following activities:
Liase with senior management and key stakeholders.
Gather user/business and technical requirements
Document business and technical processes
Write business requirement definition and functional
specifications
Effectively translate the business requirements into system
requirements to the developers or system analysts
Conduct workshops/training, fit gap analysis and process
mapping, business cases/cost benefit analysis
Prepare functional test plans, cases and scripts.
Oversee deployment and assist in resolving related issues.
Proven analytical capability and thorough working knowledge
of the SDLC process and its application within small and large IS
projects
Successfully designed and implemented the requirements in at
least 3 medium/large projects.
Good customer focus ability to provide an appropriate level
of customer service to users and ensuring agreed service levels.
Experience in using MS Office: Word, Project, Excel, Visio,
PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-
disciplinary team. Excellent interpersonal, communication and
writing skills.
