1. Position: Business Support Analyst (Asia Pacific)
2. Client: American Pharma MNC’s APAQ HQ in S’pore
3. Location: Singapore
4. Role: Regional IT support, supporting in house developed & configured
applications in Asia Pacific region
5. Reporting: to the R&D Dept IT leader for the region
6. Responsibilities:
- Application support (User & Technical) for various user levels in the
organization
- Managing user expectations and maintaining desired response,
satisfaction levels
- Conduct UAT for Applications developed/or COTS configured
- Routine system administration
- Training support and handholding
- Establish/follow processes for support administration
- Periodic reports to IT heads in Singapore and US counterparts
7. Language skills: Excellent English communication skills; + 1 Asian
language (e.g. Chinese, Korean or Japanese) desired though not essential
8. Experience: 2-3 years exp in Customer/IT support in a similar capacity
for the region
9. Technical/Soft Skills:
- Prior experience in Customer Support is a MUST
- Programming skills not essential. Knowledge of contemporary
technologies, DB, OS, platforms, environments and trends with hand on
experience desired.
- Knowledge of Pharma industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, user orientation, dedication, people
skills
Initially one year contract with permanent option for deserving
candidates. Compensation not a constraint for right candidates.
