project here in *Singapore.* This is a permanent position to be based out
with us in Singapore, details as below.
This is a PERMANENT position with Origem Solutions and the client is CREDIT
SUISSE INVESTMENT BANK.
Expert in *C++, *VB, Sybase and unix (application development)
Writing technical specifications.
System and performance test planning and execution.
Performance tuning
UAT
Post implementation support.*
Responsibilities
*
This role is with the Settlements team, part of Derivatives Operations IT
within the Derivatives IT Division.
The roles are to work on design, development and testing for the Settlement=
s
applications and projects.
The main work is to undertake new development and enhancements to existing
applications (primarily C++, UNIX, Sybase & VB.
The role includes design, development and testing of all work undertaken.
There is a strict application development methodology within the
organisation and there are strict guidelines within which the candidate wil=
l
be expected to work.
There is a broad range of applications and technologies within the
applications the team owns. The candidate will be expected to work with the
team and wider department to understand these.
The team provides global 2nd line support for the applications it owns and
operates an application support rota in which the candidate will be expecte=
d
to partake.
Tasks likely to include:
C++, UNIX, Sybase & VB development
Writing technical specifications
System and performance test planning and execution
Performance tuning
UAT test support
Post-implementation support of any deliverables
Liaison on technical issues with others members of the team and department
Technical support for business processes like data migration from legacy to
strategic platforms
