If you are giving him any cold/cough/fever medicines, please check the taste of them. Switch over to some fruitflavor or any alternative medicine or home remedies etc… You can give tulsi extract+pepper with honey for cold and cough. Sometimes prolonged medication makes their taste buds go boncus..so we see most children not eating during sickness..
1.Since your boy is almost 1 yr old you would want to start him on fresh milk. Sometimes changing the taste of milk might help…, try adding MILO/Bournvita to enhance the flavor. Choclate taste is accepted by most of the children it might help. (We had put our boy on fresh milk from the age of 7 months, so you should not have any problem.) Also u have mentioned that he is not allergic to anything till now..it will be good to start on fresh milk. Try diluting 1 glass of milk with 1 glass of water and then feed, so it is lighter on stomach.
2. Yakult (cultured milk with helpful bacteria for intestines) is very for children..try it..or you can also start him on yoghurt when he recovers from cold.
3.Also try with some fruits etc..if he likes…but try feeding him outdoors..like playground..etc it really helps. Feed while he plays. I agree with Prabha in this manner.

My son is born in Jan 2007 and for the past couple of months, it is a real
challenge to feed him the milk. All the times, he only wins. He never drinks
milk. Initially, he was really wonderful. Sometimes, even medicines also, he

believed that becuase of cold, he refuses to drink milk. But situation
totally went upside down. He never drinks milk. For the few days, I tried to
feed him when he sleeps. That too worked only for few days. After then, even
we try for more than one hour, nothing is fruitful. He is good in solid
food. ( That too, for the past two days, he refuses that too. He is total
hungry for the whole day. Neither drinks milk nor takes solid ). I am so
worried that he will have mal nutrition.
He enjoyed eating. Now it is a real headache and painful to feed him a
single spoon. Please consider this very urgent and answer my query. He has
slight throad cold becuase of bad weather. I never give him antibiotics too.
He is not under any medication. He is /was a healthy boy. NO complication.
No allergy. Weighs 10kg and height 74cm.
FYI : We tried chaning the milk powder and even I tried mixing of 2, 3
formula too. Nothing worked. I tried, enfalac, promil, similac, nan, mamil
gold etc.
