first u should have india international driving license to convert to singapore license which should be atleast 1 year old, and u still have to take only 1 theory exam which is basic. if u pass then u can change into singapore license which will be valid only for 5 year.

first u have to take 2 theory exam
1. basic theory test
2. advance theory test
which will be duration of 6 month if u fail u have to wait for another 3 month to retake.
3. final practical test
to attend the practical which is ur driving skill test u have to go thro instructor there are private school where u can go and register urself which is much cheaper. am learning from the private instructor it cost me 36$ for 1.30 hour per class it depend how many class u want to take.
